About Us
Following the ideals of Swami Dayananda Saraswathi, D.A.V. School was started in 1985 at Adambakkam. To impart quality education in rural areas too, D.A.V. School at Santhavelur was started in the year 2009 with classes from Pre KG to I Standard.
Now the school has grown to a strength about 1050 students and 45 teachers with classes from Pre KG to XII Standard. Each year lays the foundation for ideas in the years to come. D.A.V. School, Santhavelur is growing by leaps and bounds. We are quite sure that with the support of all the well wishers, D.A.V. School, Santhavelur will grow even larger even faster.

SCHOOL BUS/VAN SERVICES:
The main aim for introducing bus / van service is to see that the students coming from distant places reach school punctually in the morning and get back to their homes, safely in the evening.
The school has adequate number of vehicles operated in ten routes at present, covering all distant places.
The management takes all necessary and possible steps to provide regular and efficient service at reasonable rate. Information regarding fares and routes can be sought from the school office.
